Golmud Solar Power Project
The power station, China’s first large-scale grid-parity solar power project, provides affordable, clean energy to thousands of households, marking a new era of grid-parity for the domestic solar industry.
The Golmud Solar Project can power 630,000 urban and rural households. The clean electricity it generates is equivalent to reducing 840,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, 260 tonnes of sulfur dioxide, and 60 tonnes of smoke and dust emissions annually.
