Meerwind Offshore Wind Farm
Meerwind offshore wind farm, which was put into operation in February 2015, is a 288 MW project located in the German Bight in the North Sea.
Meerwind achieved a multi-year average annual electricity generation of 1.21 TWh, reducing approximately 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions per year. The wind farm, which maintained safe and stable operation in 2020 despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, produced 1.261 TWh of clean energy in 2020, supplying around 360,000 households.
